One-to-one support to build living skills, social skills and confidence — including household tasks, personal care, travel training and being a buddy at social events.
Not a placement. A team who gets to know the person first.
We listen first
We start with your needs and goals, then build the supports around them — rather than fitting you into a programme that already exists.
We match on more than availability
Members are matched with staff who share their interests and values, not simply whoever is free. If a match isn’t working, tell us and we’ll change it.
We measure it in independence
Every programme is built around independence, social inclusion and community participation — the things that carry on after we go home.

Don’t just take our word for it
Morhaven has been an absolute lifesaver for my daughter since leaving high school. They have helped her build her independence.

Our lovely daughter loves her days at Morhaven and all the staff — she looks forward to her social activities every Tuesday and Thursday.

We were recommended Morhaven and are so glad we were. My son has a new lease on life and absolutely loves attending.

My daughter looks forward to every session and we have seen tremendous progress. The therapists are warm, patient and highly skilled.

My son does exercise physiology at Morhaven and he loves going. The staff are wonderful, always cheerful and very professional.

I love attending the day program. The farm, and going to concerts, are some of my favourite things about Morhaven.
Children, teenagers and adults. Our Weekend & Friday Night Socials are designed for young adults aged 16–35; support workers, living skills programs and respite are available across age groups.
What areas do you cover?
Our centre is at Suite 508/88-90 George Street, Hornsby, and we support people across Sydney’s north — including Wahroonga, Asquith, Berowra and Pennant Hills. Supported holidays and short-term accommodation also run further afield, including Amaroo Homestead at Pindimar.
Nearby but not on that list? Give us a call — we’ll tell you honestly whether we can help.
Do you accept NDIA-managed, plan-managed and self-managed participants?
There are three ways an NDIS plan can be managed — by the NDIA, by a plan manager, or by you or your nominee — and many people use a combination.
Tell us how your plan is managed when you get in touch and we’ll confirm straight away how we can work with you. If you’d like help choosing a plan manager, we can point you in the right direction.
Do you currently have availability?
Currently accepting enquiries for selected services. Contact our team to check availability.
Availability moves week to week and differs by service, so the quickest answer is a direct one: call 1800 168 468, or send a quick referral and we’ll come back to you on capacity.
Can I meet a support worker before services begin?
We match members with staff who share their interests and values, not simply whoever is available — so getting the right person matters to us as much as it does to you. Ask us about meeting them first when we talk through your supports.
If a match isn’t working once supports have started, tell us and we’ll change it.
How does a support coordinator make a referral?
Use the referral forms. The quick referral takes about two minutes and is enough to check availability; the detailed referral captures the full picture when you’re ready to proceed. You can also call 1800 168 468 and we’ll take the referral over the phone.
Am I eligible for the NDIS?
Eligibility is decided by the NDIA, not by Morhaven or any other provider. Broadly, it applies to people aged 7 to 65 who live in Australia, are an Australian resident, and usually need support from another person — or use special equipment — because of a permanent and significant disability. Children aged 0–6 are supported through Early Childhood Early Intervention instead.
To start, make an Access Request with the NDIS on 1800 800 110 or read the official criteria at ndis.gov.au. Happy to talk it through with you first — just ask.
