Morhaven has been an absolute lifesaver for my daughter since leaving high school. They have provided a warm and loving environment where my daughter can enjoy time with her friends and have fun. They tailor all the activities to the needs and wants of the young adults attending. Who we cater for

Morhaven is a leading and trusted NDIS provider based in Sydney. We provide services across Western Sydney, The Hills District and the Upper North Shore. 


Our team matches 1:1 support workers with our clients where we provide support in the home or community. Whether its assistance with personal care, or getting out and about we are always keen to help! Our support workers have a range of skills and abilities, just like our clients they are all unique, we love spending the time to match you or your family member with support workers who are age appropriate, share similar values and have similar interests.


Our social and living skills programs provides opportunities for 16–35-year old’s who have mild to moderate intellectual disabilities, autism and mental health conditions. It could be that you would like to particiapte in our cooking classes, or come along to our Drop The Mic Podcast session. We have our calenders available on our website and social media pages for you to check out what options are currently available.


We provide therapy supports including exercise physiology, occupational therapy, speech therapy and positive behavioural therapy. Our unique, real-life experiences are specifically tailored to each member where we promote capacity building in a fun, safe, supportive, and age-appropriate setting.


We also provide the opportunity for supported holidays, STA and Respite which we understand is key to support our members and also their carers. We travel to amazing destinations where we cater towards a range of interests.


We find that our approach strengthens social connection, confidence & inclusion. Independence and safety for our clients is always at the forefront of our minds when planning therapy, activities and programs, as we know that this is key to helping our clients lead full and inclusive lives. Our clients often tell us that Morhaven has helped them to build their confidence, meet new friends, and try new things - things they never thought possible. OUr families tell us that they have enjoyed taking a break and appreciate the level of thought that goes into our supports.

How to use your

NDIS funding at Morhaven Social

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) will use the following terms to describe the funding our members can use, 

 

  • Assistance with daily life at home, in the community, in education and at work
  • Improved daily living skills
  • Improved relationships
  • Increased social and community participation


Our programs are funded under both the Core Support and Capacity Building Support budgets in your NDIS plan under:


Core Supports

  • Assistance with social and community participation
  • Assistance with daily life
  • Capacity building support
  • Improved social and community participation
  • Improved learning
  • Improved daily living

NDIS-managed participants can still access Morhaven Social through fee for service payments. We can help you maximize the benefits of your NDIS plan by tailoring our support to meet your goals. Get in touch with us today for more information!


Morhaven is not an NDIS registered provider. NDIS funds can however be utilised for self-managed or plan-managed participants.


Self-management or plan-managed funding can create greater flexibility in the supports you can access that will help you achieve your goals.
